Typically you will be referred for a cardiology specialist opinion by your GP. Our patient support team can arrange an appointment with the consultant of your choice. We endeavour to provide a wide range of appointments for the convenience of our patients. Before booking an appointment, you will need a referral letter from your GP or consultant which will need to be sent to us before your appointment.
If you have private medical insurance (BUPA, PPP/AXA, etc.), you will need to request a pre-authorisation number from your insurance company before the start of any consultations, tests or treatment.
We are also happy to see patients who wish to pay for their assessment and treatment (self-pay patients). Our patient support team will be able to discuss the costs of consultations, tests or treatment.
We will send you a confirmation letter by post or email, and you will need to complete several forms which you should return to us with your GP or consultant referral.
If private medical insurance covers you, please ensure that you have contacted them before your admission. We require your policy number, as well as a claim number authorising your treatment.
We welcome patients choosing to pay for their treatments, who might not have private medical insurance or wish to avoid long waiting lists elsewhere.
